Dr. Luis E. Chug
Dr. Luis E. Chug received his medical degree from Universidad de San Martin de Porres in Lima, Peru, and completed his residency in internal medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, New York. He completed his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at the University of Kansas Medical Center School of Medicine in Kansas City, followed by a fellowship in sleep medicine at McGovern Medical School at University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas.
Board certified in internal medicine, critical care, pulmonary, and sleep medicine, Dr. Chug has practiced medicine since 2005. His clinical interests include sepsis, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and sleep disorders.
Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Chug provides individualized care to adult and geriatric patients using state-of- the-art medical therapy. He believes that the key to developing a quality relationship between patient and doctor is listening.
